Why does the MWT not come up with a central bus station? Next to the train station there should be a bus stop for inter-city and local bus routes. But lets do it right this time with a nice design, lights to make it safe for everybody and a properly controlled taxi rank with "registered" taxis. I wonder why not more inter city busses operate anyway. Is it really more efficient to drive with 20...

Pedestrianize (close road for vehicle traffic) Independance Ave from Bahnhof to Snyman Circle. Imagine the street cafe's shops and buzzing vibe with all the people able to walk freely without motor vehicles.
And imagine where all the cars would go that are currently using Independence Avenue ... ?

A lot of people walk from klein Windhoek to the CBD aliong Sam Nujoma. The sidewalk is unpaved and 50 cm wide in places. It needs to be widened and paved. A few shade trees will also improve it a lot, plus speed control humps to slow the drivers down on the way east.
